Check out our recent interview with Scottish punk rockers – Tradmrkd!

For the unfortunate few who don’t know who you are, would you mind introducing yourselves?

Tradmrkd: Hello my name is Eddie Flinn and I am the lead singer of Tradmrkd. The band consists of Finlay Cardno, James Riddoch and Corey Finnie. We’re a punk rock band from Aberdeen, Scotland.

In the effort of getting to know each other better – if you could be a sandwich, what sandwich would you be?

Tradmrkd: It has to be bacon, mayo and chicken. One of the best sandwiches out there. Not saying I’m great, but I would love to be a great sandwich.

Tell us about your latest release…

Tradmrkd: Our latest releases are Pendulum and Going Nowhere. Going Nowhere is your typical song about being friendzoned and Pendulum is about being really clumsy at everything. Even if your intentions are good, it seems to turn out bad.

Have you got any crazy tour stories you can share with the world?

Tradmrkd: We were talking about this and we haven’t actually got any great tour stories yet. One we could think of was trying to figure out if the result of shoving a fork into a toaster was true. It turned out to be true.

Here at Upside Down Shark we discuss a wide breadth of pop-culture, including music, movies, TV, video games and the like. So with that in mind, if you could have a track featured in anything, whether it be any of the above on even a wrestling theme, what would it be?

Tradmrkd: That’s such a tough decision. It would be cool to have one of our songs as a theme song for a hit tv show. Everyone remembers the theme song to hit shows. I think that would have to be a choice.

Name one thing on your band bucket list

Tradmrkd: Where do we begin. I think number one is definitely playing at Glastonbury.

What would be your inspirational quote to share with the world?

Tradmrkd: “Practice makes perfect, but nobody is perfect, so why practice?”

What does 2020 have in store for you?

Tradmrkd: As of right now we don’t know, but there are many exciting things lined up. Many projects are in the works with other bands. Stay up to date with our goingons by following our socials.

What’s your favourite shark?

Tradmrkd: It has to be Doby from Anchorman 2!

Many thanks to Tradmrkd for sitting down to chat with us. Check them out!
