Check out our recent interview with Jaybee of New Jersey metalcore kings – Dig Two Graves!
For the unfortunate few who don’t know who you are, would you mind introducing yourselves?
Dig Two Graves: This is Jaybee from Dig Two Graves. We’re from New Jersey and we play metalcore type stuff but with a ton of orchestral elements as well.
In the effort of getting to know each other better – if you could be a sandwich, what sandwich would you be?
Dig Two Graves: Definitely une croque madame.
Tell us about your latest release…
Dig Two Graves: We dropped an EP called Deathwish about a year ago now, and we’re currently working on our first full length record.
Have you had a chance to tour much recently?
Dig Two Graves: We’ve mostly just been playing locally, but all in all really good turnout and support.
Have you got any crazy tour stories you can share with the world?
Dig Two Graves: I have a ton with my other band Skiver, but not so much with Dig Two Graves yet. We’ll be sure to get out there soon and raise Hell.

Here at Upside Down Shark we discuss a wide breadth of pop-culture, including music, movies, TV, video games and the like. So with that in mind, if you could have a track featured in anything, whether it be any of the above on even a wrestling theme, what would it be?
Dig Two Graves: Definitely an anime opening of some kind. The dream would be for One Piece but anything would do.
Name one thing on your band bucket list
Dig Two Graves: I wanna play a giant festival at least once. That’s always been my dream since I was a little kid.
What would be your inspirational quote to share with the world?
Dig Two Graves: “Ayo, spell iCup!”
What does 2020 have in store for you?
Dig Two Graves: Hopefully not being stuck in quarantine for too much longer. We shall see. Hopefully all the shows we had cancelled will come back soon enough.
What’s your favourite shark?
Dig Two Graves: Megalo from One Piece. The big ol’ homie.
Many thanks to Jaybee and Dig Two Graves for chatting with us. Make sure to check them out!
