An Interview with Ghostastic | UDS Interviews

Check out our interview with Adamo Fiscella, the creative mind behind Ghostatic!

For the unfortunate few who don’t know who you are, would you mind introducing yourself?
Ghostatic: I’m Adamo Fiscella, AKA Ghostatic. It’s a one man show.

In the effort of getting to know each other better – if you could be a sandwich, what sandwich would you be?

Ghostatic: If you took a DiBella’s Godfather sub on everything bread with all the fixings, your favourite sandwich and throw them both in a blender with a scoop of whey protein coconut milk, that’s me.

Tell us about your latest release

Ghostatic: Violence’. That is the title. If you are sick of PLUR and hearts, that song is for you.

You’ve been organising the tour in support of Violence. How have you found the tour?
Ghostatic: I can’t wait! Nothing has been booked yet. Still getting the live performance ready. There is A LOT of stuff going in my songs, if you haven’t noticed. I want it to translate live. Some of the slots are filled. Just need a solid key-tar guy/girl who can play behind their head.

Have you got any crazy tour stories you can share with the world?
Ghostatic: I went skiing with a fellow bandmate. She went down the hill like it was the last snowfall she will ever see.

Here at Upside Down Shark we discuss a wide breadth of pop-culture, including music, movies, TV, video games and the like. So with that in mind, if you could have a track featured in anything, whether it be any of the above, even a wrestling theme, what would it be?
Ghostatic: Any survival horror game would be well suited for Ghostatic. As well as slasher flicks. The Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark movies would be amazing. Loved those books as a kid.

Name one thing on your bucket list…
Ghostatic: Live comfortably doing what I love, which is making music. Or being involved in a massive
riot. Either sound amazing.

What would be your inspirational quote to share with the world?
Ghostatic: “If you’re bored, then you’re boring.” Fix yourself.

What does 2020 have in store for you?
Ghostatic: More music and hopefully a TV show. That’s not a joke. I’ve been working with a couple production companies on hosting a show about the paranormal.

Name your favourite shark (can be real or fictional)
Ghostatic: Half Shark, Alligator, Half Man. Kudos to you if you know the reference!
